Finding the Wild’s work emerges from sustained engagement with specific sites and their ecologies: foraging, magnet-fishing, grinding, composting, ink-making. The duo treats these not as methods but as modes of attention — ways of reading a landscape for what it holds, what it has lost, and what remains. The results move between large-scale public installations, performative sculptures, and intimate works on paper, often unfolding across extended durations and in collaboration with communities, invited artists, and non-human participants.
Charalambous trained as an architect (Glasgow School of Art, TU Delft) and Mohr as a stonemason and sculptor (ABK Stuttgart). The practice sits at the intersection of these formations without belonging fully to either.
Based in Stuttgart since 2023, Finding the Wild hold a three-year scholarship at Kulturpark Dettinger (2026–2028). Current projects span ecological research, large-scale mosaic works for public buildings, and sculptural interventions in public space. Their work has been shown across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, and Portugal.
